Faith Formation

St. Rita’s offers many ministries to expand your faith through knowledge and prayer. Many of the ministries offered below are headed by parishioners. Please contact the parish office if you’re interested in knowing more about the ministries.
Adoration – Adoration is held in the Chapel on Wednesdays from 7am until 7pm, and the 1st Saturday of the month from 8am until 12pm. Please come spend time with Jesus!

Baptism

Help coordinate and prepare families and candidates for the Sacrament of Baptism. We have English or Spanish coordinators for this ministry.

Bereavement

During times of loss, we need resources for consolation. Join other parishioners who have gone through the same experience.

Cursillo

An exploration in the Christian faith and retreat held over a weekend in the Spring and Autumn.

Evangelization and Light of the World Retreats

Help plan and organize evangelization events and retreats. Contact our Evangelization Minister, Julieta Jacobo 630-892-6089 (En & Sp).

Family of God Prayer Group

A charismatic prayer group which meets on Mondays at 7pm at the Parish Center. Contact Dcn. Norb Szudarski 630-897-0484

Knights of Columbus

Fraternal Organization which performs ministry outreach, ceremonial processions, fundraisers, and more.

Legion of Mary

A lay apostolic association of Catholics who participate in the life of the parish through visitation of families, the sick, both in their homes and in hospitals.

Prayer and Praise

A prayer group which prays for special requests or intentions.

Pro Life Prayer

Pray for the unborn in front of abortion facilities on every 4th Tuesday of the month, and on other special events.

Religious Education (RE) and RCIA (Adult Education)

Provides religious education for those who attend public schools or who want to become new Catholics. Contact our Religious Education Minister, Rae Eigenhauser 630-892-9507.
