St. Rita of Cascia celebrates 90th Anniversary

On May 21, 2017 Bishop David Malloy presided at the 10:15 a.m. Mass, a baccalaureate for the parish school’s eight graders and this kicked off the year of celebrations for the parish. We are a very diverse parish with people from different countries such as Poland, Nigeria, Philippines, Vietnam, an all Latin America. Fr. Oscar Cortés said “having a big diversity of cultures is not an obstacle. It is a blessing from God. It is a means to evangelize people. We can show other the real meaning of being the Church of Christ.”
