We, the people of St. Rita of Cascia, are a Eucharistic community of Catholic believers blessed with great cultural, economic, ethnic, and other diversities who share a bond of faith in Jesus Christ.
The Lord Jesus sends us, the Baptized, His Church, to be light where there is darkness. We are called by our baptism to a daily conversion of heart, to proclaim the Good News of salvation in word and deed, and to put ourselves at God’s service in turning the hearts of all humanity toward the Kingdom of God.
As an evangelizing people, we affirm the primary values of justice, freedom, and truth as we work to enjoy the fruits of the Spirit, love, joy, and peace.
We are called to simplify our lives and see the Lord Jesus so that He can become the core of our existence and the motivation for our actions,
We affirm the special grace of small Christian communities which nurture prayer, faith sharing, and commitment to action.
We are a communion of believers who proclaim and bear witness to the truth that God’s grace permeates all creation, and we are sustained by the sacramental life of the Church.
We are a consecrated people who, united with our Bishop and our Pastor, have come to realize that our lives and our destiny are rooted in the larger families of parish, diocese, Universal Church, and indeed, the entire human community.
